Don’t run, give life a chance — Frank Geraci
Life is a puzzle for everyone. What will happen in the next moment no one understands. It is also true for many that there comes a time in your life when you feel like the most unfortunate person in the world. The shock may be more than you can handle. Everyone has their own way of dealing with unpleasant events. Some lose hope, drown in their shells, and some may even think about ending their lives. Why this happens because of not accepting that change is the only constant in life. After the good times, bad and sad events also happen. During these times, you lose the ability to appreciate the good things that have happened in your life or the blessings you have received.
Don’t run away, but acceptance is the solution
In the psychological interpretation of difficult events, there are two answers, one of which is therapy, “fight or flight.” While the latter may be advisable in some situations involving physical security, it is a defeatist approach to life’s adversity. In fact, misfortunes can be numerous because problems do not come alone. But avoiding life will not help. What will help you is to accept the situation calmly and gracefully. Realizing that this is part of life and how to get the most out of this phase is what is emotional maturity. Seeing life from the right perspective and appreciating the blessings we have experienced is what gives us the strength to face life and deal with it with renewed vigor.
Adaptation Strategies
Stressful situations are inevitable in life, but our choice is how we deal with them. Here are some strategies that are sure to help you deal with your stress and find inner peace.
Accept stressful situations as part of life. Life consists of events, some of which can be considered bad or sad. Problems are inevitable in life, but suffering is optional. Choose to face life when it presents itself.
Have a positive mental attitude at all times: your attitude to life determines your actions, which have their own consequences. Be optimistic and positive.
Get more sleep and rest: Sleep and rest reduce the production of stress hormones like cortisol, and a well-rested body will increase its efficiency in everything you do.
Exercising and walking — all of these are important for maintaining good physical and mental health. Exercise increases the production of feel-good hormones, such as epinephrine and norepinephrine.
Try relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and meditation. These can help reduce stress levels and lead to physical healing. Meditation is especially useful for avoiding distractions and helps you focus on tasks better.
Talk to someone you trust. Talking to someone can help let go of pent-up feelings, anger and feelings of loss. Two-way conversations also help you evaluate and make realistic action plans and commitments.
CONTROL YOUR LIFE — Don’t let the situation take over your life and getting behind the wheel is the key to getting back on your feet again. Taking responsibility for your life will make you feel powerful, capable, and capable.
Manage your time well: Time is what life is made of. Time is an invaluable and irreplaceable resource. Controlling this resource through effective time management is like taking control of your life.
According to Frank Geraci, you cannot delay life to find peace. It is easier and better to find peace by feeling alive. Accepting that life’s circumstances can sometimes be miserable and that the struggle to adapt will go a long way.
